QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-Fold is a soft, white, sterile, non-woven gauze impregnated with kaolin, an inert mineral that does not contain animal or human proteins or botanicals. The QuikClot Combat Gauze product is z-folded, vacuum packed and has an x-ray detectable strip. The vacuum packed feature makes it much more compact, saving room in your kit/pouch. The x-ray detectable strip ensures that the gauze will be found if the patient is taken to the operating room. Flexible and pliable, 3 inches x 4 yards, Z-folded.
